Doll is both a comment on the over- whelming preciousness of childhood innocence, and the unsteady path to accepting one’s place. By examining the emblematic, man-made plastic doll the artist brings awareness to the somewhat ironic transience of youth, and how instantly the sense of oblivious innocence may be se- vered when one is bound to face the path to adulthood.
